Indulging The Tastebuds

It’s been a lazy weekend and I’m taking things easy. I woke up surprisingly early today, maybe because of the good night’s sleep I had last night. I’ve been trying out recipes again and so far, the kids and I have been happy with the results. I made Scottish potato scones for breakfast and grilled potato gratin with lots and lots of gruyere and parmesan cheese for lunch. I even found time to make the best banana crumb muffins. The kids loved the brown sugar and cinnamon topping.

The kids have gone to their friend’s birthday party by the pool downstairs and I’m just going to enjoy the rest of my weekend reading magazines and an LP guide I just bought today. Sheer indulgence, that’s what I call it.
