I arrived in London at the same time the sun decided to leave and give way to the moon. I was welcomed by a gentle drizzle and an array display of fireworks in the sky. The country was celebrating Guy Fawkes’ failed attempt to blow the Houses Of Parliament. I remember the story from my primary days at Goldbeaters and as my cab took me to my hotel, flashes of classroom scenes from the early days of childhood filled my head. The weather outside was cold, windy and wet and I shivered as I tried to open the window to catch a glimpse of how chilly the air was. The shivers took me back in time, a time when everything was so easy and playful. A time that only existed in my fairylike days of childhood in England.
